Yosuke Onuma & Hakuei Kim Duo Tour 2017
パリ公演、ブルーノート東京公演を含むJam Ka Deux ツアーも大成功のうちに終了したギタリスト小沼ようすけと、2016年にアメリカ最大級のジャズフェス、デトロイト・ジャズ・フェスティバルにトライソニークとして出演したピアニストハクエイ・キムの２人がスペシャルデュオツアーをおこなう。
共演歴はあるものの、２人でのツアーは実は初めて。今回のツアーではお互いの曲を持ち寄り、新たなケミストリーの可能性を探っていく。国際的に活躍し、ヨーロピアンな感性を特長とする２人の貴重なライヴ！

Artist Biography
Hakuei Kim:
Hakuei Kim was born in 1975 Kyoto, Japan and was brought up in Sapporo. In his late teens he moves to Sydney Australia and pursues an intense study for jazz and improvisation at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music under the tutelage of an ECM artist Mike Nock. He has been signed an exclusive contract to Universal Music Japan in 2011. Released his major debut album “Trisonique” and performed at Hong Kong international summer jazz festival in May. His first solo piano album “Break the Ice” was released later in the same year. He has also composed and played an ending theme for a Japan/Korea co-produced film “Takumi” and performed at the premier in Seoul, South Korea in 2012. Hakuei Kim performed in Detroit Jazz Festival 2016 as Trisonique. He is currently based in Tokyo and performs and tours constantly both nationally and internationally. His latest release is “HANA” (Verve/Universal, 2015). He has played mainly as Hakuei Kim’s Trisonique since 2011.
ハクエイ・キム：
1975年、京都生まれ。高校卒業後、オーストラリアへ渡り、シドニー大学音楽院(Sydney Conservatorium of Music, the University of Sydney)に入学。在学中はECMレーベル等に作品を発表しているオーストラリアを代表する名ピアニスト、マイク・ノックに4年間師事し、氏の音楽観に多大な影響を受ける。2009年にピアノ・トリオ Trisonique（トライソニーク）を杉本智和(b) 、大槻”KALTA”英宣(ds)と共に結成。2011年、ユニバーサルミュージックジャパンと専属契約を結び、アルバム『トライソニーク』でメジャー・デビューを果たす。同盤は国内外で評価を受け5月には”香港サマー・ジャズ・フェスティヴァル”に 出演。同年末には自身初となるソロ・ピアノ・アルバム『ブレイク・ジ・アイス』を日本と韓国でリリース。2012年には日韓合作の映画『道~白磁の人』（高橋伴明監督作品）のエンディング・テーマの作曲と演奏を担当。2016年、デトロイト・ジャズ・フェスティバルにトライソニークとして出演。現在は東京に拠点を置き、国内外をツアーで回り活躍の場を広げている。最新作は2015年に発表した韓国の伝統音楽家、ミン・ヨンチ率いる『新韓楽』とハクエイ・キム率いる『トライソニーク』によるコラボレーション・アルバム 『HANA』。
Yosuke Onuma:
Yosuke Onuma is one of Japan’s foremost jazz guitarists. With nine hit releases and live performances in such diverse places as the United States, Italy, Hong Kong and Indonesia, he is quickly becoming known around the world. Inside Japan, he has grown to dominating fame as the new leader of the next generation of jazz guitarists. His solo guitar arrangements recently published as a book “Hop Step Jazz” after serialized in a magazine for four years.
Onuma started to play the guitar at the age of fourteen under the influence from his father. In 2001, he came out with his debut album, “nu jazz,” through Sony Music Japan. After releasing three groove jazz albums, in 2004 Onuma released his ground-breaking fourth album, “The Three Primary Colors,” recorded as a trio with Richard Bona (bass) and Ari Hoenig (drums) in New York. This highly acclaimed album showed a change in Onuma’s style which still holds to this day; a style characterized by exclusively using finger-picking – abandoning the use of a guitar pick entirely.
After residing in seaside from 2007, Onuma was fascinated by surfing. It became the other important part of his life besides the guitar. Taking inspiration from the ride on the surf, he released his sixth album, “Beautiful Day.” He worked on this album with engineer Al Schmitt in the surf-culture mecca of beachside Los Angeles. In 2010, Onuma recorded his seventh album “Jam Ka” in New York with Guadeloupean musicians using a Caribbean rhythm from Guadeloupe called “gwo ka.” He has played with the band at Blue Note NY and Blue Note Tokyo in the same year. Onuma has, in fact, created a fresh sound, not only a fusion of creole music with his many years of experiences of groove jazz but also a perfect union of the sounds of the sea and the music of the guitar.
In 2014, Onuma has released “GNJ,” his ninth album under the concept of organic jazz with fine Japanese musicians.
Currently, Onuma is composing pieces for an upcoming album “Jam Ka Deux” that expands on the concepts underlying “Jam Ka.” The recording will be planned in Paris in 2016. It will be released from a newly established his own label “Flyway Label” as an affiliated label in Mocloud Music Group.
小沼ようすけ:
2001年にSONY MUSICよりデビュー、10年間在籍。現在までにSONY他から10枚のリーダー作品をリリース。2004年のカメルーン出身のベーシストリチャード・ボナとのレコーディングを契機に、独自の方法論による指弾きスタイルを確立。ここ数年は様々な国を旅して得た影響、ワールドミュージック要素を自分の音楽に採り入れながら、世界を繋ぐ創作活動を続ける。2010年フレンチカリビアンのミュージシャンとレコーディングした「Jam Ka」発売。グアドループの民族音楽グオッカの太鼓(ka)がフィーチャーされたこの作品で独自の世界感を展開。同年にBLUE NOTE NY & TOKYOでリリースライヴをおこなう。2014年、ワールドジャズをテーマに「GNJ」を発表。リーダー作以外のコラボレーション、セッションにも積極的に取り組み「トニーモナコ、小沼ようすけ&ジーンジャクソン」名義で活動するストレート・アヘッド・ジャズに現代性を加味したオルガンジャズトリオも高い評価を得ている。2016年、Flyway LABELを設立。第一弾作品としてパリで録音された「Jam Ka」の続編、 「Jam Ka Deux」をリリース。
